Synopsis:
Starring Vikram in double role ‘Iru Mugan’ is the Tamil version of Telugu movie ‘Inkokkadu’. A suspended RAW agent Akilan (Vikram) returns to his job to investigate a new case involving a man named Love (Vikram) with sound knowledge of chemicals and science. Love, a transgender, is the same man who killed Akilan’s wife Meera (Nayanthara) around four years ago. Akilan takes the help of a fellow trainee officer Ayushi (Nithya Menon) to stop Love from selling a super-drug to terrorists. The superdrug developed by Love pumps adrenaline in the persons who inhale it and turns them into superhumans with superstrength.
