Synopsis:
Wilson is an upcoming American comedy drama family that is the cinematic version of the very acclaimed and successful graphic novel of the same name. The plot mainly centres on a family that gets reunited a number of years later. Wilson is a man of depression, all alone, living with a dog in his apartment, surrounded by paperbacks. He looks like a man who has lost all his will to live. And worse, his father dies and the only support he had in the form of his best friends moves away to another town. Wilson is left all alone, until he decides to make contact with his ex wife, whom he separated with about 17 years ago. And when he comes face to face with her, he gets to know that he has a daughter. The story is basically about the unresolved issues a man, who is middle aged and honest to his core has when he comes across his estranged wife and her daughter after a long time. How would his honesty define the conversation between them, which is taking place after a lot of time, is what the plot is all about. The bittersweet moments makes the film heart-warming and high on emotions.
