Synopsis:
Uri: The Surgical Strike, an Indian action movie, is the story of retaliation taken by Indian army for the Uri attacked that 4 heavily-armed militants did on 18 September 2016 near the town of Uri in J&K. The movie is based on the true events as they happened, right from the report of the suspected presence of militants in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK) to the planning and execution of the operation. Spread over a period of 11 days, the movie explains the occurring through a series of 11 tumultuous events. Directed by Aditya Dhar as a story of what was imagined to have happened during those days, the movie is filled with action and a sense of patriotism.
