The Lovers and the Despot Synopsis:

The Lovers and the Deposit is a documentary looking into the lives of Shin Sang-ok and Choi Eun-hee, a very famous South Korean director-actor duo. The North Korean dictator at that time Kim-Jong-il was a great fan of both of them and he kidnapped them. He then offered them to work for North Korean film industry but both of them refused initially and they got about 8 years later heroically. The documentary will give the audiences the never seen before look into the heroic feat of the star couple who went against the odds and never let their dignity fall for a day. The documentary is all set to meet the audiences and both the actors has helped the filmmakers in bringing the absolute truth on screen.
