The Eyes of My Mother Synopsis:
The Eyes of My Mother is an American psychological film dealing with the feelings of solitude, depression and the hidden inner desire, results of the traumatic past. A Portuguese American woman named Francisca is leading a very troubled life, thanks to an event that took place sometime ago and changed her outlook on life forever. She witnessed the event as a child in her family’s secluded farmhouse and it resulted in scarring her psyche as an adult. The film will deal with the themes of depression, loneliness and psychological damage in childhood affecting adulthood.
