The Best of Enemies Synopsis:

The Best of Enemies, an American drama film, is the cinematic take on the book titled The Best of Enemies: Race & Redemption by Osha Gray Davidson. The movie revolves around the rivalry between a civil rights activist Ann Atwater and Ku Klux Klan leader CP Ellis. After a decade of battles, both come together for a common cause and agree to co-chair a community summit in 1971. The summit is based on the court-ordered school desegregation in Durham, NC. Though the debate leads to surprising revelations that results in a life-changing experience for both, what happened during the event forms the rest of the story.
