Saand Ki Aankh, an Indian biographical drama film, is the reel-life take on the real-life ghagra-clad shooter grannies from Uttar Pradesh. Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar are living in a village where even stepping out for women is not common. They didn’t want their daughters and granddaughters to suffer the same level of suppression as they did. To encourage the women of the next generations, they took up shooting and inspire others to work towards a better future.
