Synopsis:
Raid is an Indian period drama crime thriller movie written by Ritesh Shah and directed by Raj Kumar Gupta. Based on the country’s longest IT-raids that were carried out in Lucknow in the 1980s, this film features Ajay Devgn and Saurabh Shukla in the lead roles. Amay Patnaik is a fearless Income Tax officer, who has a reputation for being transferred 49 times in 7 years owing to his incorruptibility. After getting an anonymous tip about Tauji’s illegal assets, Amay declares war on him by conducting a search operation at his house. This movie revolves around a patriotic officer’s quest to perform his duties fearlessly, despite opposition from corrupt politicians and bureaucrats.
