Synopsis:
Oh Lucy! Is an American-Japanese romantic-comedy drama film directed by Atsuko Hirayanagi. The movie tells the story of a single woman Setsuko, who is living a meaningless, aimless and unsatisfactory life in Tokyo. When her niece Mika, sees her emotionally broken, she suggests Setsuko to join the English classes in Tokyo which was provided by an American instructor John. As per the rule of the class, she requires to wear a blonde wig and take a new American name, Lucy. The new identity helps her to find a new Setsuko inside her. She starts having feelings for her instructor, John. Her new world comes to an end when her instructor disappears and she finds out that he was in a relationship with Mika, her niece.
