Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, an Indian historical biographical movie, visualizes the life of the warrior queen of Jhansi, Rani Lakshmibai. At the age of 22 years, the queen displayed a great amount of bravery, valour, and strength. She became a part of the Indian rebellion of 1857 by refusing to give up Jhansi to the British and chose to fight dressed up as a man. Though she died on the battlefield while fighting the Englishmen for her kingdom, what she left behind was a tale that has been inspiring generations and will continue to do so. The rise of the queen, her rebellion, death, and everything in-between is shown through the movie.
