Laabam Synopsis:
Laabam, an Indian action-drama film, is the story of a common man’s fight against a powerful big shot for his people’s benefit. Pakkiri is the president of Peruvayal’s farmer association and has been preaching about community farming and its benefits to farmers. However, industrialist Vanangamudi thrashes his efforts when he starts acquiring the village’s land to build a bio-diesel project. While Vanangamudi is targeting billions of profits through the project, Pakkiri launches a fight against him. The industrialist doesn’t seem to stop with power, politicians, and police on his side. Pakkiri must put a strong fight to save farmers’ land and the environment being destroyed for money.
