Synopsis:
KGF, an Indian action-period drama film in the Kannada language, depicts the story of a rebellion against oppressors in the history of India. The 1700-year old history is based on the waging wars against oppressors in KGF (Kolar Gold Fields), a mining region as well as a taluk in Karnataka’s Kolar district. Rocky, a fierce rebel raises his voice against the brutal oppression in the fields and becomes a symbol of hope for the downtrodden people of the region. Set in the period of 1970s, the movie explains how the oppression started following the rise of the protagonist against the same.
