Synopsis:
Fatteshikast, an Indian historical period drama film in the Marathi language, follows a famous chapter from the Maratha history. The movie focuses on the events that led to the famous encounter that happened at Lal Mahal between Shaista Khan and Shivaji Maharaj. Set during the reign of Shivaji, the plot details the preparation of what is considered to be the first-ever surgical strike in the history of India. Also known as a political statement and a guerrilla warfare example, the stealth attack came after Shivaji’s capture at Panhalgad.
