Synopsis:
Dangal, autobiographical drama film featuring Aamir Khan playing the role of Mahavir Phogat, who in a very conservative society where girls weren’t considered equal to the boys, takes the charge of making his two daughters the international wrestling champions. The film takes several things into account such as how Mahavir grew up among a very middle class household and took Kushti (wrestling) as something he loved and took his and his country’s name on the international stage. His two daughters followed the footsteps of her father and went on to win the gold and silver medals in the Delhi Commonwealth Games that took place in 2010. The film stars Aamir Khan, Sakshi Tanwar, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
