Synopsis:
After her dad’s unexpected death, youthful Ella ends up helpless before her barbarous stepmother and stepsisters, who diminish her to scullery cleaning specialist. In spite of her circumstances, she declines to give up. A welcome to a royal residence ball gives Ella trust that she may rejoin with the dashing outsider (Richard Madden) she met in the forested areas, however her stepmother keeps her from going. Help lands as a compassionate hobo lady who has an enchantment touch for conventional things.
