Breakthrough Synopsis:
Breakthrough, an American Christian drama movie, is the story of faith and love shown by a mother for her adopted son that, in turn, led to a miracle happening in the medical history. John Smith, the adopted son of Joyce Smith and Brian Smith, falls through an icy Missouri lake and lies lifeless with all the scientific predictions and case histories pointing to zero chances of recovery. Despite everyone and everything going against, Joyce remains firm in her belief and continues to pray for her son. While this compels others around to join her, prayers turn into a miracle when John recovers miraculously.
