Synopsis:
Blade of the Immortal is an upcoming fantasy action drama film directed by Takashi Miike. The film is set in the ancient Japanese Samurai era and will tell the story about samurai named Manji, who was blessed with immortality by a mystic old woman. But many years later, he doesn’t want to be an immortal anymore and wants to be a normal human being again. He vows to kill 1000 bad men in order to regain his mortality, but is it going to be this easy for him? The film deals with the philosophical themes of life and death.
