Beirut Synopsis:

Beirut is an upcoming American fictional political thriller film directed by Brad Anderson. The plot of the movie follows a former U.S. diplomat, played by Jon Hamm, who is approached by Rosamund Pike, who plays a CIA operative, to negotiate a deal with a terrorist organization. In 1982, 10 years after Mason Skiles was forced to leave his country, he is informed by the CIA that his friend and former colleague, Cal Riley has been kidnapped by the same militant group that killed his family. They want Skiles to act as mediator as they make a demand for the release of a dangerous militant.
