Synopsis:
Before I Fall is an American drama feature film based on a very successful novel of the same name. The story is about Samantha, a happy go lucky high school senior who meets her death untimely at a tender age of 17. She meets with a horrifying car accident and during the last few moments of her being alive, she sees each and every moment of her life fast forwarding right in front of her eyes. She closes her eyes and when she opens them again, she finds herself alive. A reincarnation of sorts. Things turn awkward for her as she finds herself living the last day of her life again and again. In order to understand the meaning behind her life, she goes on to live the last day of her life again and again in order to attach meaning to themes such as love, friendships and trusts. And in the process, she also tries to solve the mystery surrounding her untimely death. She takes some actions during the process which are so unlike her and that puts her parents in a situation of doubt but she doesn’t care about that and goes on to find the meaning to her life.
