Synopsis:
Aranya is an Indian drama film in the Telugu language (also released as Kadaan in Tamil and Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi). It follows a fight of animals and nature lovers against the corporates. The environmental minister, who is also a developer, brings a plan to create a luxury township that will need clearing the forest and the wild habitat. The township is planned to be a luxury one that includes lavish facilities like an amphitheater, and a golf course, among others. However, animals and humans living in the forest disapprove of this step. Now, they (elephants and other residents of the wild led by Veerabarathi) must stand against the corporates to stop the anti-forest drive.
