83, an Indian sports drama film, is an official biopic of India’s cricket team at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Before the tournament, team India had won only one match in the previous two World Cups. Even in this, cricket experts considered it as a gone case with bookmakers staking with odds of India’s victory at 66-1. However, the team of 14 men started their journey with a jaw-dropping victory in their first match against West Indies, two-time champions.
