Hacksaw Ridge, a collaborative film between America and Australia is a war drama film which will shed light on a real life heroic tale of American army medic Desmond Doss, who is known to have saved the lives of 75 of his army men without bearing a single weapon. He was honoured as a hero back in his country. The film will look into different aspects of his life and will especially focus on the Okinawa battle during the World War 2 where he achieved this amazing feat. He was later awarded a medal of honour by then president Harry Truman.
